About the Role

The First Nations Wellbeing Connector plays a vital role in supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people to access culturally safe, responsive and meaningful support. Working alongside the broader headspace team, the role focuses on strengthening connection to culture, community, identity and wellbeing while building trusted relationships with young people, families, Elders and community partners. Desired Skills and Experience

We're Keen to Hear From You If You:

  • Are passionate about supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.
  • Build genuine, trusted relationships with young people, families, Elders and community members.
  • Bring cultural knowledge, lived experience and community connections that help create culturally safe spaces.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively with others while advocating for positive outcomes for young people.
  • Have experience in youth, community, wellbeing, mental health, Aboriginal health, social services or related fields.
  • Hold relevant qualifications or have equivalent experience that informs your practice.
